Pediatric First Aid and CPR
This course content covers General Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Asthma Care for the Pediatric Patient, Environmental Emergencies and Suspected Abuse in Pediatric FIrst Aid and/or cardiac emergencies. Adult, child and infant CPR, use of barrier devices, relief of choking and the use of an AED.
Target Audience: Designed for those involved in child care whose duty is to respond to pediatric first aid emergencies as a job responsibility or regulatory requirements. Child care providers, babysitters, teachers, foster care providers, grandparents, parents, legal guardian, coaches, youth organizations and family members who are the first responder during a first aid and/or cardiac emergency.
